Pixar's RenderMandering

RenderMan was the first software product to be awarded by Oscars.

Some Hollywood blockbuster movies such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Termination 2: Judgement Day, Toy Story, Jurassic Park, Avatar. Titanic, The Star Wars Prequels and The Lord of the Rings.Robert Cook was the co creator and primary author of Pixar’s RenderMan software. Which creates photo-realistic computer images. In 2001, he and two colleagues received Oscars for their contributions, the first ever given for software. In the last 16 years, every film nominated for a Visual Effects Academy Award has used RenderMan.
